DSM hosted another successful event in association with the Business Resilience Forum.
Business Resilience Forums bring together supplier and industry experts to network and share knowledge and insights on current issues facing continuity managers and facilities professionals.
Three excellent speakers gave interactive presentations on diverse subjects which were both interesting and stimulating for delegates looking to expand their awareness of the potential threats to their organisations, and the solutions available to either mitigate the risks or deal with the impact of unexpected incidents.
Following the positive feedback from the last event, a “BC Question Time” session was included where delegates were invited to submit questions to the panel of experts which were then opened up to the floor for general debate. Delegates came up with some very thought-provoking topics which led to lively and productive discussions.
The event, sponsored by TrackMyRisks, included an exhibition area where vendors of relevant solutions were on hand to discuss specific issues with delegates and explain how their products could enhance their continuity strategies.
DSM also took the opportunity to unveil Cyboar, the new Cyber Security arm of the company. Steven Torbet who heads up this new division delivered an interactive workshop which included several demonstrations of live hacks.
Positive feedback from delegates has encouraged us to continue hosting these events and the next is provisionally scheduled for 3rd October 2018 – watch this space for news of presentation content!
